Love this line from "Partner Track" so much：
"You're black with an added gay bonus. Your success is pretty much guaranteed."
It's offensive and sarcastic, but you can't deny the truth in it. That pretty much sums up what's going on in Hollywood, or the entertainment industry as a whole (at least in the States).
It makes perfect sense to have POC (people of color) in this particular drama as it reflects how it is in the real world. Some other shows, not so much. No doubt they should cast more minority actors, but not all roles are created equal, e.g. you don't wanna see a White actor portraying T'Challa in Black Panther. It just doesn't seem right.
