I knew Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther actor, many of us did.
Yet I only came to admire him as a person after his passing. Like others, I only learnt from the news that he visited children with cancer while waging private battle with the disease himself; that he kept making movies during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.
He knew that his days were numbered, but instead of waiting idly for his meeting with Thanatos, he lived life to the fullest, battled cancer with courage, and brought joy, courage and inspiration to those around him.
It matters not how long we live but how. Respect. #WakandaForever
