The Moment Magic Happens

It’s the moment magic happens, they say,
To like somebody too much to hold his gaze.

Stealing furtive glances then coyly look away,
His eyes entrancing like an intricate maze,
Sending your heart racing with newfound craze.

One scoop of daze
Topped with two drops of fate,
How does it taste?
Like his breath warm on your skin that melts your worries away.

Your heart skips a beat yet not afraid,
Neither tomorrow nor today,
For at the end of the road there awaits
A shower of kisses and a warm embrace.
